New full scope simulator delivery for NPP V2 Jaslovské Bohunice
VUJE has built new full scope simulator for NPP EBO V-2 of Slovenské elektrárne a.s. in a thight project schedule. Such extensive project engaged VUJE specialists from several divisions and subcontracting organizations. The scope of work consisted from performing an analysis of the current state of the main control room, design of database for components and devices and engineering of hard panels and other simulator systems, design of new software object library and protocol for communication with hard panels, upgrade of the operating system, executive software tools, development platform and configuration management system to the latest version on the market.
The realization itself included production, delivery and assembly of hard panels and other simulator systems and porting, integrating and testing of simulator executive in new environment. A big challenge in project management represented a harmonization of several jobs from the elaboration of project and documentation implementation up to managing the work of several professions related engineering and construction. Uniqueness of the project is mainly in the implementation of design and construction of main control room from the 80's, using current state of the art of computing and automation technologies. Main control room now incudes brand new input/output interface adapted to the designed panels and boards and simulation server uses the lastest version of the executive configuration. Stimulated systems of 3rd parties has been updated and adapted to match the current state in NPP. VUJE runs great number of tests to validate the quality of the delivery to minimize the possible configuration errors and to ensure the long term and reliable operation meeting the highest requirements and expectations of the customer. Scope of the Bohunice simulator will be extended in 2023 by updating the core model to actual fuel load, delivering the severe accident model MELCOR, modeling unit electricity distribution system and turbine vibration monitoring system in the next phase of the project.
